Frequently Asked Questions

Questions,
answered.

Everything you need to know before starting a project with us — from process and timeline to budget and beyond.

  • We begin with a discovery consultation — listening to your vision, walking the site, and understanding your requirements and lifestyle. From there we develop a concept that is presented for your review and feedback. Once the direction is aligned, we move through design development, detailed technical drawings, material specifications, and into the execution phase where we manage contractors and oversee the build to ensure the design is delivered exactly as intended.

  • Timelines vary significantly by project scope. A residential interior design project typically takes 4 to 8 months from concept to handover. Full architectural projects or new builds range from 12 to 24 months depending on the size and complexity of the build. We provide a detailed, phased timeline at the start of every engagement so you always know exactly where the project stands.

  • We work on projects of meaningful scale — typically full residential villas, commercial and retail spaces, restaurants, and hospitality venues. Our studio is structured around full-scope delivery: design, documentation, and execution management together. We do not take on single-room or minor renovation commissions, as our process is designed for projects that benefit from integrated oversight from concept through completion.

  • Yes — project management is a core service, not an optional add-on. We oversee contractor selection and coordination, material procurement and scheduling, on-site quality control, and milestone reviews throughout the build phase. This integrated approach is what ensures the design intent is fully realised rather than diluted during execution. Many clients come to us specifically because they want one point of accountability from first sketch to final key handover.

  • Yes. While our studio is rooted in Amman, Jordan, we have delivered projects across the wider region including Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. We welcome international enquiries and handle logistics accordingly — including periodic site visits, local contractor coordination, and remote collaboration tools to keep the project aligned regardless of geography.

  • As involved as you would like to be. Some clients are highly engaged at every stage; others prefer to give us creative latitude and review key milestones. We adapt to your preferred working style. What we always ensure is that every significant design decision is presented clearly, explained in plain language, and approved by you before it progresses. No surprises.

  • We work with a carefully curated network of trusted local and international suppliers — from premium stone and marble specialists to bespoke joinery workshops and certified construction material brands. Our partnerships with suppliers like Leo Marmi, Sika, Lafarge, and others allow us to specify with confidence and procure at competitive rates. All material selections are presented to the client in a formal palette board before procurement.

  • Our fees are structured based on the scope and scale of your project. Following an initial consultation, we provide a detailed proposal that outlines the phases of work and associated fees transparently. We typically work on a fixed-fee basis per phase — covering design, documentation, and project management separately — so you always know what is included and there are no hidden costs.

  • We design in respect of nature and context. That means working with what the land gives us — preserving existing rocks, trees, and natural features rather than erasing them — and letting the environment shape the architecture rather than imposing upon it. In practice, this looks like buildings that feel settled and inevitable in their surroundings, interiors that are quiet and precise, and spaces that gain value with time rather than following trends.

  • The simplest way is to send us a message via our contact page or call us directly. Tell us briefly about the space, the intended use, and your rough timeline. We will arrange an initial consultation — in person at our Amman studio or on-site — at no charge. From there we can assess fit and, if there is alignment, proceed to a formal proposal within a few days.
